ATTENTION ALL ACTIVE Q2 MAPPERS!!!!
Dear fellow mappers, We (clan Q2C) are attempting to organize a Quake 2 mapping contest for sometime in the next month or so... The requirements are fairly open ended so we are hoping to get a variety of different mappers to produce some new and interesting work....
Although the contest is open to anyone who wants to enter it, we have decided on some general guidelines for the maps themselves.. we are looking for Quake 2 Deathmatch maps, designed for standard DM with NO grappling Hook... you can use any textures, sounds, and themes that you want... however, we are looking for original material so the map should be a NEWLY CREATED one, not just an old one that you made 2 years ago and "spruced up" a bit...

Cross Canadian Ragweed « Result #27 on Aug 15, 2006, 8:59pm »
Has anyone heard of this band called Cross Canadian Ragweed? I really like their music. It's kinda like rock with a country feel. It definitely rocks for sure though.
It may not tell you much, then again it may say too much lol... but the show itself has some neat things going on and some ammazing special effects for sure.

Q2, Q3 and about to become a Q4 fan. I also enjoy older games like; carmageddon (the first one especially) transport tycoon, championship manager 96-97 (lol I know, but the older ones are so much more fun than the new ones, if anyone can get me this game I would be so thankful, haven't played it in years) Playstation I also like, metal gear solid, NBA live and Vigilante 7 (probably one of the best games ever made, guaranteed fun).
Just come in from the fireplace outdoors and the time is about 5-6 in the morning, been listening to beth hart the last 2 hhours, mannnn she is something...heh,.,....later

Let your baby listen to Zeppelin, Radiohead, the Beach Boys and more!
Quote:
Baby Rock Records transforms timeless rock songs into beautiful instrumental lullabies, sending your little one to a slumberland of sweet dreams. Delicate instruments such as the glockenspiel, vibraphone, mellotron, harp and bells create a soothing atmosphere of sound. These charming recordings are sophisticated enough for everyone to enjoy, yet gentle enough for your little angel. This is cherub rock for a new generation.

Sci-Fi rocks, not startrek and shows like that though! Star wars, sky captain and the world of tomorrow, back to the future, terminator. All good sci-fi stuff
Also check out galaxy quest, one of my favourate sci-fi/comedy ever
